Our present condition did not happen in a vacuum. Дмεяικα 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝘆 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. She is frail because her people are palsied. The grassroots rank and file are the source of anemia. The malady is ubiquitous, and one day it will be terminal.

If this untenable situation concerned only a few it wouldn’t matter. The inability of a remnant to rouse itself in times of dire need is inconsequential. But we are not a meager number: We are 330 million strong!

Together, we could be a force multiplier for correction and redress, even if only one percent of us joined hands! Instead, we are the depraved, ambivalent majority who damn ourselves to destruction for the sake of our own apathy.

To any outside observer it must surely seem that as much as the current regime wants to destroy us, we’re just as intent on letting them.

The consequences of sloth

As the adults of this generation, the case could be made that we rightly deserve what befalls us. Our ineptitude in keeping the country on track has doomed us to reap all the “benefits” a falling, failing, heavy-handed government can dish out.

We have no privacy, security or economy. Big tech in cahoots with the government constantly spies on us, tracks us and catalogs our activity.

Rampant crony capitalism has infested the marketplace with subsidy after subsidy so that entrepreneurs have no chance of competing on the merits of their ideas alone. It used to take a village, now it takes a grant. Or ten.

Ballots are abysmal and the audits dismal. At least the last three election cycles have made it painfully obvious we can’t even select our representatives in a manner that’s above reproach.

Collectively, we are moral lepers. Militant homosexuality was bad. The push now to legalize pedophilia is worse. It will end with same-sex bestiality, or the recognition that a legalized union with a love doll/robot is preferred over the quaint, outmoded notion of a marriage between a husband and wife (of original, complementary genders).

On the world stage, we are held in derision. As Russia, China and the Mid-East gain strength through solidarity, we watch and wither with our mouths agape, stunned by the dawning revelation that our fiat currency (which has always been worthless) is becoming less and less acceptable to others on the globe.

At present, all the vim and vigor of our military is reflected in the choice of a transgender for the office of assistant secretary of health. While countries like Russia fill their armies with testosterone, we fill the heads of our warfighters with gender-neutral pronouns.

These are the repercussions of inaction.

We are circling the drain and we give no thought to our self-inflicted demise. Worse, we steadfastly refuse to consider the fallout of all those who suffer unjustly from our lethargy: our precious children.

Today, our sons and daughters suffer because we don’t care enough to wrest the country from the debauched clutches of a madman hell-bent on our destruction—a marionette who openly demonstrates hostility toward the People and antipathy toward our plight. #LetsGoBrandon!

When we do nothing it always gets worse.

Tomorrow, our children will suffer still more because of what we would not face today. This. Is. Guaranteed.

What’s left to leave behind?

I no longer have little ones at home. My children are grown, but grown or not, I am ashamed at the dearth of heritage and legacy I leave them concerning this country.

Now, I won’t pretend to be responsible for the hours you were sleeping on the job—that’s on you. I’m responsible for all the times I closed my own eyes.

We could remove Brandon the usurper from office, as peacefully as any happy donkey could be moved, were we aligned and inclined. But we’re weak and supine. By all appearances, we seem content with that.

So we dally. We continue with the charade. We watch as we’re conned, telling ourselves it’s okay to be the patsy. We pretend we’re still a Representative Republic held in check by The Constitution, but those of us who know those terms know full well we haven’t been guilty of resembling that form of government for many, many years!

Дмεяικα is a 500-plus member oligarchy whose sole purpose is to make commerce out of “we the people,” milk them for all they’re worth and then discard the cold, dry husks.

Those of you who truly support Biden, our POTUS traitor, are like those of you who supported BLM and watched while they burned and looted. You might know no better—I’m being very generous here—but it doesn’t matter. You egged them on. Private property was defaced and defiled while the vandals were applauded. They protested while buildings burned and people died. This is what passes for true social justice in the land of the fee and the home of the knave.

Those of you who patiently wait for Trump-the-savior to right wrongs are deluded. I’m certain you’ve considered all the good he might possibly do—dead certain. But have you stopped to think just how fast it can all be undone by the next interloper? I’m dead certain you haven’t.

Success used to be measured in family generations. Now it’s metered out in presidential administrations. Terms of four years or less. And time is pressing on us hard.

For the sake of our children, what can I say that will rouse you from your stupor? How bad must it get before enough of us care? When will we stop rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic?

Don’t tell me you’re afraid—that’s your flaccid excuse to justify why you still walk around in a coma. Truth is we’re all afraid, at least those of us who see the magnitude of this present evil. The malignancy is dreadful but not insurmountable. Be afraid if you need to, but don’t run away.

There’s hard work to do. It involves risk and sacrifice, and it will be uncomfortable. However, none of that deters those of us who really want to fix what’s broken. That’s how you tell the difference between those who care and those who say.

There are enough of us. We are plenty strong. We see the problem. Let’s start solving it. Are you with me?
